About

The Chuck Reed Fund is intended as a living memorial to my friend Chuck who lost his battle with cystic fibrosis when we were in the 5th grade. My goal is to provide sufficient long-term funding to purchase and donate a block of season tickets to the Bristol Motor Speedway to a well-known charity benefiting children with life-threatening illness. The "well-known charity" will be the Make-A-Wish Foundation of East Tennessee who receive four spring Bristol tickets every year. The Chuck Reed Fund is a Donor-Advised Fund managed by the Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga and is set up to purchase both the spring and the fall tickets (in other words, "The Night Race at Bristol") for donations in perpetuity.
